Though, the IELTS Exam varies from test centre to test centre, from country to country. But the one that is mostly taken is ranged between $215-240 USD.
There are two ways to pay the IELTS exam fee that completely depends upon the mode of registration. So, let’s discuss them both.
1.IELTS Registration Process: Online Mode
This is the most convenient way in two of the prescribed mode. As through the online mode, you can register yourself in IELTS anytime and of course, on any day.
For this, you need to go on the British Council IELTS Registration Page and then create an online profile.
After that, you need to pay the registration/exam fee.
a. Online modes of paying IELTS Exam Fee
Credit card/Debit (Visa, Electron, Mastercard) and Net banking.
b. IELTS Registration Process: Physical Mode
Regardless of IELTS Registration: Online Mode. The second option you get to register yourselves in IELTS is in person mode or Physical mode.
For this, you can register in person at the British Council Office.
Then coming to the application form, in that too you have two options, either you can download the online form or fill a paper application form in the respective offices.
The fee cost payable at the time of registration is exactly the same as the online mode but modes are different.
Modes to pay IELTS Exam Fee in physical mode
a. Payment by Bank Transfer
In this, you are required to state certain mentioned details below:
Recipient’s account number (for example): 2048040318/2600 (IBAN CZ4926000000002048040318, BIC code: CITICZPX)
Variable code: according to the centre where you want to take the exam (Prague 9001, Brno 9007)
Specific code: your date of birth in the ‘dd/mm/yyyy’ format.
You are required to quote the following in the first box:
- The registration Reference Number- You will have a reference number which is a 13 digit number that starts with your country code (CZ).
- NEXT: Full name of the candidate taking the exam.
e.g. CZ001-70926-00130 – Maria White
The time you will quote the above registration reference number that means you are ensuring that there will be no delay in the process of application and if there is then it will eventually take away your preferred test centre.
After paying, you will get the evidence of the payment, (either demand draft or the ‘acknowledged copy’) immediately.
Important Note:
You are required to pay the examination fee within the 5 calendar days after registering for the test, where the first day will be taken as the day of registration.
If you are failed to pay within the 7 calendar days, then your application will eventually be cancelled.
