The first difference in IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training is represented in the no. of words you have to write, which is a minimum of 150 for the Task 1 and 250 for Task 2.
CEFR Assessment Test
Task 1 is of 20 minutes, in which you have to write at least 150 words whereas the rest 40 minutes are for task 2 where your write up must have at least 250 words.
